Models are available with analog voltage output, serial digital output, pulse width output (select models), and real-time analog envelope output (select models).
The XL-MaxSonar-WRML only reports the range to the target with the largest acoustic return to a maximum distance of 10 meters. This ultrasonic sensor provides a very robust long range sensing solution.

The power supply filter is recommended for environments with unclean power or electrical noise. Electrical noise may cause unstable range readings on MaxSonar products. The power supply filter helps clean unstable or dirty power supplies that may cause a MaxSonar sensor to have unstable range reports.
